This was also the closing event for the Post Media Lab Incubator project at Leuphana University and our research fellowship with them.<\/span><span style=\"cursor: auto; padding-top: 1px; padding-bottom: 1px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/tasty8mmtelecini.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-738 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/tasty8mmtelecini-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"tasty8mmtelecini\" width=\"180\" height=\"135\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"cursor: auto; padding-top: 1px; padding-bottom: 1px;\">The visit began with a tour of the city archive during which we heard about the main activities of the institution not least the film, map and image collections. They wish to extend access to these via street access sync points in the near future.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/robertshowsinterlace.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-737 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/robertshowsinterlace-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"robertshowsinterlace\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/strong>We convened one of seven care groups<strong> Mesh Media!<\/strong> to look at open, collaborative systems that facilitate collective abilities to store, curate, share, edit, redistribute and re-purpose media while at the same time creating new frames of reference and practice in public. We were pleased to have presentations by\u00a0Eric Kluitenberg of <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/DQrJ1\">Tactical Media Files, <\/a>Volker Grassmuck and Jan Torge of &#8216;InternetTV for the newMedia Generation&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leuphana.de\/partner\/regional\/digitale-medien\/grundversorgung-20.html\">Grundversorgung, <\/a>open wireless network advocates <a href=\"http:\/\/freifunk-lueneburg.de\/\">Freifunk Lueneburg <\/a>and Robert Ochshorn with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.postmedialab.org\/VideoVortex9-Reassemblies-of-Video-Interlace\">Interlace<\/a>. (See last section for more details..)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/haukeatponsbar.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-741 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/haukeatponsbar-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"haukeatponsbar\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Media was selected from the respective archives and uploaded to publicly presented syncronisation points adjacent to each Freifunk node in Lueneburg city centre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/lunenodemap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-745 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/filmcode.org\/deckspacetv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/lunenodemap-300x215.jpg\" alt=\"lunenodemap\" width=\"300\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a>We produced a map to illustrate the locations of syncronisation points as a\u00a0 data trail which was toured by a small group of Lueneburg locals. Nevertheless it relies on new medial affordances (what? affordances! :-)) and possibilities, allowing for new kinds of collective repositories and living archives. How can these new collecitve, transitory and ad-hoc repositories of &#8216;many media&#8217; look like? What are their (possible) protocols of turning consumers into makers, individuals into groups, and media into structured, living and meaningful (micro-)social memory?
