Contemporary Arts\nPractice and Research\n\nExhibition: Crossing the Atlantic; Uneasy Spaces. Curated by Liz Wells\nand Ann Chwatsky\n\nGoldsmiths Digital Studios, University of London will be hosting a\none-day symposium on contemporary arts practices and research\nentitled: Affective Imaging; Uneasy Spaces. The symposium brings\ntogether artists, theorists and historians in five one-hour sessions.\n\nAffective Imaging; Uneasy Spaces features presentations, responses and\ndiscussion of current artist practices and research concerned with\nPhotography and related media. Uneasy Spaces is on\nview in the Ben Pimlott Building, Goldsmiths College between Oct.19\nand Nov.8, 2006.\n\nThe Goldsmiths exhibition is the second part of a bi-country exchange\nbetween the United Kingdom and the United States. The USA exhibition\nof Uneasy Spaces has been curated by Liz Wells and is on view at New\nYork University's 90 Washington Square East Galleries through November\n6, 2006.\n\nDIRECTIONS TO GOLDSMITHS:\nGoldsmiths can be reached by train from London Bridge Station, by\nunderground on the East London Line or bus including 436 and 36.
